   Book Hounds PLUS, located at 4031 Main Street on scenic Chincoteague Island, Virginia, is your one-stop used book buying adventure. Our inventory includes: collectable books (some signed), plays and poetry, cookbooks, sports, history and travel books, general fiction, romance, mysteries and suspense, sci-fi, horror plus much more. Many titles can be found in both hard cover and paperback.

Discover our children's reading room equipped with tables for games and coloring books. Browse through our children's books and gently used board games available for purchase. We also carry the 'Misty of Chincoteague" book series and the "Misty" DVD.

We carry a wide selectionn of Peterson's Flash Guides and First Guides such as "Atlantic Coastal Birds" - a flash guide of more than 100 species from Nova Scotia to Florida, "Birds" - a first guide to over 188 common birds of North America, "Fishes" - a first guide to 220 common fishes of North America, "Shells" - a first guide 224 common shells of North America and "Seashores" - a first guide to 317 common animals and plants of North American seashores. In addition:  Quick Reference Publishing "Birds of the Eastern Chesapeake, Maryland and Delaware.

We are easy to find! Take a leisurely stroll down Main Street to 4031 (right across from the fire house) or hop on the "Ride The Pony Express" Trolley (there is a trolley stop outside our front door). If you are driving, use our convenient off-street parking next to our building. NOTE: Trolleys run from late May to mid-October.
